September 8 & 9 was the most astonishing movement our country ever witnessed and many consider it to be black day in history. It wasn’t only against the government’s sudden ban on 26 different social media platforms (including facebook, instagram, tiktok, etc.), which many young people saw as a restriction on expression, moreover towards the decades long standing corruption, nepotism and lack of opportunity for the new generation.
Het is wat betreft management en financiën niet mogelijk om in elk dorp een nieuwe school op te richten. Met de schoolbus kunnen we verschillende dorpen in de omgeving te bereiken en zo het onderwijs van Maya voor aanzienlijk meer leerlingen toegankelijk te maken.
Hi! We’re Isabel and Anne. Last July, we both graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from the University of Groningen.
Instead of jumping straight into our Master’s, we decided to explore a bit more of the world first and that’s how we ended up at Maya.
Met de enorme groei die we vanaf de start in 2011 hebben doorgemaakt, én de verwoestende aardbeving uit 2015, is het tijd voor een groot en nieuw aardbevingsbestendig schoolgebouw.
